I have a large number of antique watches to list from a deceased watchmakers estate.All of these watches will require attention of some sort; they will not be in perfect working order. Some may run and simply need a routine clean but many will need some form of repairs. Please take the time to view all of the images and ask for additional ones if needed. I am not a watchmaker but will do my best to give a reasonable visual description of any obvious issues.My late husband was a watchmaker, he died 12 years ago and many of these pieces have not seen the light of day for over 30 years. Some were in his spares pile and others in the never ending to do drawer. If you are a collector or someone starting out on a horology course they could be an excellent hands-on and cost effective resource for you.

Swiss 15 Jewel movement, 28mm case, 10mm lugs.

Not running; good balance, for restoration

Case: The case is solid silver with a snap fit bezel and hinged back. Fully hallmarked to the inside back for import through London in 1913, so a nice early piece. All covers open and close nice and tightly. Rose gold winding crown looks to be original. Solid silver fixed lugs in good order; these will take a 10mm open ended strap. The case measures 28mm diameter excluding the lugs or crown.

Dial: Original white enamel dial with black Breguet type Arabic numbers with red 12 and blued steel spade pattern hands. The subs hand is absent but the staff is visible. Original glass lens. The dial does have some damage as shown; see the enlarged images.

Movement: Very nice quality Swiss bright nickel 15 Jewel lever with compensated balance and bright steel winding gear. Simply marked SWISS MADE 15 JEWELS

Size: 28mm diameter, 35mm from lug to lug and will take a 10mm strap.

Condition: Not running: the balance looks good and when agitated swings freely. Hand set works fine This piece has been dormant in a drawer for over 30 years so it will need at least a routine service, it is sold for restoration purposes.
