Ive been alife-longspurs fan and my earliest memory as a kid was the 91 Fa cup extra time win against Forrest (Gazzasfinal game for us). Ive been collecting everything spurs since then but now its time to let go of some of my collection to genuine spurs fans like you!
I have for sale an Official(I only sell genuine)Pony Rare Tottenham 98/99 away shirt in an adultssize Large.
The 98/99 season started with Christian Gross getting sacked early on and George Graham being appointed as manager. An average league finish of 11th was out shadowed by our league cup run as the club beat Liverpool 3-1memorably inround 4 on route to the final. We won The Worthington League Cup Final 99 against Leicester City 1-0 at the old Wembley stadium with an Allan Nielsen winner.
Pony manufactured our kit for a four-seasonspell from the 95/96 season to the 98/99 season and this was the fourth and final away shirt that they produced for us. Hewlett Packard was our shirt sponsor over this periodand their unique logo is positioned centrally in raised felt onto the shirt in White (see item photos). The shirts main colour is a beautiful purple and theshirtsaccents provided in white in the shirts collar, sleeve piping and sponsor logo (see item photos). The Ponytrademark is stitched in white on the left chest (see item photos) and the classic unique club shield crest that we had at this time isstitchedin colour and with a stitched purple surround(see item photos) they both stand out brilliantly against the purple backdrop of the shirt. The shirt features a classic V neck collar which incorporates both purple and white (see item photos).The club moto Audere-est-facere is stitched in white on the collar at the rear of the shirt and adds a stylish touch to the shirt (see item photos).The shirt is lightweight and designedto keep the wearer cool and dry during exercise. There is an Official PonyTottenham Hotspur merchandise patch on the bottom left of the shirt for authenticity. There is also a small cockerel tag on the bottom right side of the shirt for authenticity (see item photos).
The condition of the shirt is genuinely excellent and is As New with no pulls/snags.
