This strainer is shaped like a dragon with a swinging silver basket over its open mouth. There are marks "MY NGHE, HANOI, VIETNAM, SX, 0.900". What we now know as Vietnam was divided into two territories called Annan in the south and Tonkin in the north. In 1902, the French made Hanoi the capital of Tonkin. Sample 875 originates from the era of the Soviet Union and was first used from about 1959.
